Beauty Vloggers

Updated: Sep 30, 2019

Welcome back! This week I wanted to focus more on the influencers in the beauty community. You can learn a lot from these professionals because they put out all their tips to everyone. Personally, these are my favorites to watch on YouTube, but there thousands out there to learn from.

First I want to talk about Jeffree Star. He is a known icon and has been for a while. Jeffree has about 16.1 million subscribers on YouTube (www.youtube.com/jeffreestar). He posts videos reviewing new makeup, doing different challenges, or even just coaching through a challenging look.

Jeffree Star also has his own beauty line, Jeffree Star Cosmetics. Included in this is: eyeshadow palettes, concealers, highlighters, setting sprays, and more. He also has collaboration with a different beauty line, Morphe, to come out with makeup brushes, sponges, and other items.

He is very high energy and entertaining to watch. Although he gets into some controversial topics, he will always have an army of fans supporting him.

Next I want to move onto another one of my favorites, Tati Westbrook. Tati is a very smooth girl who loves testing out new products, both drugstore and high-end. She is not afraid to throw whatever on her face and talk about the results.

What I like most about Tati is she always talks her way through things, meaning she will describe her technique in every video. This is helpful for new viewers because then they can learn from her right away. Although, if you are a previous viewer, you really get to take in all the techniques and remember them clearly. Tati currently has about 9.75 million subscribers (www.youtube.com/glamlifeguru).

She gives the most unbiased reviews, even if the product is sent to her free. Tati really mixes it up between drugstore cosmetics and high-end. Even some of her favorite products are drugstore. Personally, I believe that is how she keeps so many subscribers because the majority of them can go buy the drugstore product she raves about and see how they like it.

Tati also has her own brand of something- beauty pills. Her brand “Halo” is a company that sells vitamins to help your skin, hair, and nails. A lot of her subscribers support her with this and continue to buy her product.

Another one of my favorites is Kelly Strack. Her videos include testing out what’s new (both drugstore and high-end), unboxing “PR” packages, and just different looks (like wedding makeup, New Year’s Eve, etc.).

Kelly has about 711 thousand subscribers on YouTube (www.youtube.com/mak3upbarbie). She has high energy and always tries to keep her fans involved. To do this, she does a lot of giveaways. She’ll include her favorite products along with some new ones for the winner to try out. She is a sweet girl who always thinks of others before herself.

All of these beauty vloggers are really straight to the point with everything too. They offer the best tips and try to respond to as many people as they can. They are also very entertaining to keep up with.
